The Macau spa day circuit: the resort spas compared by hour and price

A full Macau spa day is a circuit, not a booking: the spa that opens first is not the spa you want at midnight, and the published price is rarely the price you pay. The circuit by hour, built only from this site's own spa pages: Zensa at Studio City from 11am, the Mandarin Oriental's quiet afternoon on the peninsula, Bodhi Spa at the Londoner for the Cotai afternoon, Sands Spa to 1am, and V Spa, which runs to 4am, with the site's own price bands beside each stop.

Key facts

The price frame
A 60 minute massage at a Macau hotel spa publishes at MOP 1,150 to 1,500 plus 10 percent service charge and 5 percent tax; prepaid vouchers run about MOP 280 to 900 for the same hour (this site's prices page, checked 5 November 2026).
Morning
Zensa Spa, Studio City, Cotai, 11am to 11pm; facilities only entry MOP 380 at the venue.
Afternoon
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, peninsula, 1pm to 9pm; or Bodhi Spa at The Londoner for a Cotai based day.
Evening and late
Sands Spa, peninsula, to 1am. V Spa, The Venetian, noon to 4am, the latest hotel spa in the city.

Most visitors book a Macau spa the way they book a restaurant: one name, one time, done. The city rewards a better idea. Macau's resort spas keep different hours, sit on two different sides of the water, and price the same hour of massage in two completely different currencies of value, the published menu rate and the voucher rate. String the right ones together and a spa day becomes a circuit: a wet morning, a quiet afternoon, an evening wind down and, if the day runs long, a spa that is still open when the casinos are the only other lights on. This piece builds that circuit from our own pages only: the hours are the hours on our best spas list and area guides, the prices are the bands on our prices page, checked again on 5 November 2026, and every booking button is a route this site already wires. Our Grand Prix weekend recovery guide is the companion piece, the same city read for race weekend; this is the any day version. Our spa day passes guide explains the shapes in full: in Macau the facilities come with the treatment, so a well chosen voucher is a day pass with a massage attached.

The price frame, before the hours

Two numbers govern everything below, both from our prices page. A 60 minute massage at a Macau hotel spa publishes at MOP 1,150 to 1,500, plus 10 percent service charge and 5 percent tax, so roughly MOP 1,320 to 1,725 all in. The same spas sell prepaid vouchers through the booking platforms at about MOP 280 to 900 for the same hour. Independent shops sit below both, at about MOP 180 to 400. The circuit rule follows: use vouchers for the hotel stops, reserve the slot with the spa after you buy, because the voucher is the payment and the reservation is the booking, and never judge a spa by its published rate alone. The specific figures at each stop below are the figures our own pages state, checked on 5 November 2026; listings move, so confirm at booking.

Morning, Cotai: Zensa Spa, Studio City, from 11am

The circuit starts where the day can start earliest and wettest. Zensa Spa, on Level 3 of Studio City's Star Tower in Cotai, runs its spa from 11am to 11pm, and it is the one Macau hotel spa where our day passes guide could verify a facilities only price: MOP 380 per entry for the wet spa, pool and gym, paid at the venue, with vitality pools, saunas, steam and a snow room behind it. That makes Zensa the honest morning: arrive at opening, do the heat and water circuit properly, and add a treatment if the day wants one. Klook sells Zensa's treatment journeys, the two and a half hour Retreat and the two hour Oasis, and individual massages from 60 minutes; the listing asks you to check in at least 45 minutes before a treatment to use the heat and water experiences, which tells you the venue itself thinks of the facilities as half the product. Terms on our page: reserve at least a day ahead, and these vouchers cannot be cancelled once bought, so morning certainty is part of the deal.

Afternoon, peninsula: The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, 1pm to 9pm

Cross to the old side of the harbour for the afternoon, because the peninsula's best spa keeps afternoon hours and rewards slowness. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, at One Central on the NAPE waterfront, is open daily from 1pm to 9pm, and the hotel asks you to arrive at least 45 minutes before your appointment, which is the correct instruction: tea lounge, heat and water facilities, steam room and vitality pool first, treatment after. Our best spas list carries its 2026 brochure prices: the 90 minute Oriental Qi at MOP 1,780 on a weekday and MOP 1,980 at the weekend, plus the standard charges. That is published rate territory, the top of the band, and it buys the quietest room in Macau wellness: four individual treatment rooms, three couples suites, and a view over Nam Van Lake. A Klook voucher exists for this spa as well, and it is the route below; book it, then phone and reserve, as everywhere on this circuit.

Afternoon, Cotai alternative: Bodhi Spa at the Londoner

If your day is Cotai based and crossing the harbour twice makes no sense, the afternoon stop stays on the Strip. Bodhi Spa, at Conrad inside The Londoner, is the serene, Balinese inspired room in our luxury guide, with spa suites that carry their own steam bath and jacuzzi, and published rates our luxury page puts typically around MOP 1,800 to 2,000 plus charges. Read that as the published anchor, not the price of entry: Bodhi sells through the platforms, and the Klook route below is the one this site wires for it. Pair Bodhi with the morning at Zensa and the two stops are ten minutes apart, which is the Cotai version of the circuit: no bridge, no taxi queue, and the afternoon still feels like a change of place, because the Londoner's calm is a different register from Studio City's scale.

Evening, peninsula: Sands Spa, to 1am

Evenings belong to the spa that stays open through them. Sands Spa, inside Sands Macao by Fisherman's Wharf, minutes from the ferry terminal, runs to 1am, with a jacuzzi, plunge pool, steam room and sauna around the treatments on its 8th floor. It is the circuit's best value hotel stop on our own numbers: our prices page puts its 60 minute voucher at US$45.39, about MOP 365, against a published hotel band that starts over MOP 1,100. The voucher follows the house rule, buy ahead and reserve the slot, and our peninsula guide notes blackout dates on its packages that include the late December stretch, so read the terms before a Christmas trip. For a day that started in Cotai and spent its afternoon on the peninsula, Sands is the natural last hotel stop before the night decides what it is doing.

Late, Cotai: V Spa, noon to 4am

Every circuit needs an anchor that cannot be missed, and Macau's is V Spa at The Venetian. It opens at noon and runs to 4am daily, the latest hotel spa in the city by hours, with traditional Chinese foot reflexology as its speciality and vitality lounges with sauna, jacuzzi and steam around the treatments. Our prices page puts the 60 minute massage voucher at US$104.90 on Klook, and our day passes guide notes a V Spa foot massage from US$53.35 is the cheapest door into a grand hotel spa in Macau. Either way it is voucher band money for the Strip's flagship late spa. The discipline is the same as race weekend, and our recovery guide states it plainly: buy the voucher during the day, phone and reserve your late slot against it, and do not arrive at 2am with a voucher and no reservation expecting the desk to improvise. Done properly, V Spa is how a Macau spa day ends if it ends well: after midnight, in the quiet, with the Strip still lit outside.

The circuit, in one line each

Morning, Zensa, Cotai, from 11am, the wet start, MOP 380 facilities entry or a treatment journey. Afternoon, Mandarin Oriental on the peninsula, 1pm to 9pm, the quiet ceremony, or Bodhi at the Londoner if the day stays in Cotai. Evening, Sands Spa on the peninsula, to 1am, the value stop. Late, V Spa in Cotai, to 4am, the anchor. Peninsula, Cotai, peninsula, Cotai sounds like a zigzag until you remember the bridges take ten minutes and each stop is a different hour of the day asking for a different kind of room. Book the vouchers first, reserve each slot as you buy it, and confirm hours when you reserve, because late hours are the first thing a venue changes on a big weekend. Our booking guide walks the voucher and reservation system step by step, and the late-night guide covers the 24 hour walk-ins that sit underneath this whole circuit as its safety net.
