What we collect

Almost nothing. This site has no accounts, no newsletters, no comments and no analytics scripts. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The contact form on this site does not store anything: it opens your own email app and sends your message directly to us. What you write in that email is the only personal information we ever receive from you, and we use it only to reply.

Cookies

This site uses two minimal, first-party mechanisms:

Consent preference. When you accept or decline the cookie banner, your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. Nothing is sent to us.

Affiliate identifiers. Booking links on this site may carry an affiliate identifier (for example, parameters added to Klook or Trip.com URLs) so those platforms can attribute a booking to this site. That identifier is set by the booking platform when you click through, under that platform's own cookie policy — not ours.

We run no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Hosting and server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider records basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operational purposes. We do not combine these logs with any other data, and we do not have access to anything beyond what the host retains by default.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party booking platforms (Klook and Trip.com) and to venues' own official sites. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply — not this one. We encourage you to read them.

Affiliate disclosure

We may earn a commission when you book through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed in the footer of every page.

Your rights

Because we hold essentially no personal data, there is little to request — but the principle stands: you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. Email hello@macaumassage.com and we will respond. Where data-protection law (including the EU GDPR, for visitors it covers) gives you further rights, those apply.

Children

This site is a general travel guide not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
