Booking and boarding
QR boardingBook 1 hour ahead
Tickets are sold per sailing, so book a specific departure. Online bookings come with instant confirmation and a QR code you scan straight at the boarding gates. Book at least one hour before departure, and arrive 30 to 45 minutes early: you'll clear Hong Kong exit immigration and security before boarding, and Macau arrival immigration after landing. Bring your passport, it's a real border crossing. Ferries suspend when the typhoon signal reaches 8 or above.
